Paul Burden - Performance Coach

Self-confidence, self-belief and self-image are important for any professional needing to perform well, whether that's in business, sport or in the public eye.

For most people whether they are aware of it or not, body image is often central to that. We all know of someone who has a fabulous figure, but seems to be unable to appreciate themselves. Or someone who holds their posture with less charisma, because of how they feel inside.

To achieve a physique you really feel good about, changing your mindset is often fundamental.

Paul specialises in personal performance and achievement. Particularly relevantly topics are goal setting, overcoming old habits and re-defining self-image. More generally his specialities include:
  • Creating Self-Belief, Confidence, Motivation
  • Resolving Stress, Anxiety, Insomnia, Chronic Fatigue, PTSD, Depression
  • Overcoming Conflict, Fear of Failure, Fear of Injury, Feeling Stuck
  • Purpose & Direction, Achieving Goals, Reach Your Potential

Peter qualified from U.W.E. Bristol in 1999 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.  Following qualifying he worked within the NHS in central Bristol hospitals and GP surgeries. This is a service which we continue to support as a business.

3 years ago Peter established The Berkeley Centre which offers a multidisciplinary approach to complementary and NHS referred healthcare.  The majority of Peter’s clinical experience is treating office injuries, sports injuries, andback/neck pain. He continues his professional development with regular post graduate courses, as well as working hard to develop a balanced and highly skilled team within our business.  Prior to being a Physiotherapist he spent prolonged time in the Himalayas on sponsored expeditions, but his passion now is his family. He is married and has six lovely children which keep him busy outside of work.
